Little Lambs - 3K & 4K
Come grow in faith with Little Lambs! 🐑 Designed especially for our 3K and 4K children, Little Sprouts meets on specific dates from 8:45 AM until the end of Mass for a fun and engaging introduction to our Catholic faith.
Blending traditional teaching with elements of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), children will explore Bible stories, discover more about the Mass, and experience their faith through hands-on activities, stories, prayer, and play.
Along the way, our Little Sprouts will begin learning important Catholic prayers and practices, including the Sign of the Cross and the Bless Us, O Lord meal prayer.
It’s a joyful place for our youngest learners to wonder, explore, pray, and grow closer to God!
Little Sprouts — 4K & 5K
Come grow in faith with Little Sprouts! 🌱 Designed especially for children in 4K and 5K, Little Sprouts meets from 10:15 AM–11:30 AM for a fun, engaging, and hands-on journey into our Catholic faith.
Building on the foundation introduced in Little Lambs, Little Sprouts invites children to dig a little deeper! Through Bible stories, prayer, play, and hands-on activities inspired by the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), children will explore Scripture, discover the beauty of the Mass, and begin to understand how God is present in their everyday lives.
As their faith continues to grow, our Little Sprouts will practice important Catholic prayers and traditions, including the Sign of the Cross, “Bless Us, O Lord,” the Hail Mary, and the Our Father.
Little Sprouts is a joyful place to wonder, discover, ask questions, pray, and grow closer to God—all while planting the seeds for a lifelong love of their Catholic faith!

Liturgy of the Word for Children
Big faith for little hearts! ❤️
Liturgy of the Word for Children is a special worship experience designed just for children in 3K through 2nd grade! It gives our youngest parishioners the opportunity to hear and explore God’s Word in a way that is fun, interactive, engaging, and easy for them to understand.
Children will hear the same Scripture proclaimed during Mass, but with age-appropriate language, activities, and conversation that help bring the readings to life. Through this experience, children can grow in their understanding of Scripture, discover how God’s Word connects to their lives, and develop a deeper appreciation for the Mass and our Catholic faith.
On select Sundays, children will be invited forward during Mass and will head together to the JP2 Room in the church basement for their own celebration of the Liturgy of the Word. They’ll return to their families around the time of the collection so everyone can celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist together.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to
listen, wonder, participate, and grow in faith
—all in a way created especially for them!
